Happy Mother's Day!!

Ok, well I know that this blog is currently a work in progress but I decided that today, Mother's Day, is the perfect day to post my first official blog entry! This has been such a long week for us here at the Simmons house. I feel so blessed that everything has turned out to be okay with both me and baby Austin! I have learned this past week not to take one single second of this pregnancy for granted. It has been a reminder of how quickly things can change during pregnancy...and how I much I love this baby more than words can even begin to express! It has also been a reminder of how lucky we are to have such incredible friends and family in our lives! We have been surrounded all week by texts, phone calls, friends stopping by to check in and loving prayers. I am so excited about this Mother's Day. Today feels even more special to me considering what our last week has been like. I have a precious husband who brought me breakfast in bed, is working furiously to clean our house at the moment and bought me the sweetest Mothers Day gift. It is a necklace with our sweet baby boy's initials on it. If I can figure out how to add a picture, I will post one of it. I hope that all of my friends have a wonderful Mother's Day...and to all of my sweet preggo friends I hope this Mother's Day is extra special for you!! I love you all!
